League Awards

Amherst Baseball gives a number of awards on annual and occasional bases. Congratulations to all award winners!

Charlie Read / Jackie Robinson Award for Sportsmanship (Given in memory of Charlie Read, who played in our youth programs and then for Amherst High School before dying tragically of epilepsy. Charlie is remembered as a wonderful teammate who loved the game and admired, particularly, Jackie Robinson): Keenan Hamilton (2024); Sandu Rager (2023).

Mike Piazza Most Improved Player Award: Sean Lucien (2024); Agho Mankin & Julian Park (2023).

Kevin Ziomek Award for Best Pitcher: Jonah Sommers (2024); Nolan Ingram (2023).

Josh Gibson MVP Award: Julian Park (2024); Cyrus Arwade (2023).
